BAO DOWN TO OUR BAO BUNS
Bao buns are a must at Tampopo Ramen because you have a perfect balance of sweet, salty flavors balanced with crunchy and fluffy textures. We use our house chaishu pork, chaishu chicken and marinated shiitake mushrooms that go inside our fluffy pillowy buns. It gets topped with crunchy freshly shredded cabbage and finished with Japanese bbq sauce and a dollop of Japanese mayo. Then you must dip the whole thing in our house chili oil that comes on the side. It’s the perfect way to start a meal at Tampopo Ramen in Washington Heights, NYC.
