THE BEST RAMEN IS FRESH RAMEN

At Tampopo Ramen we make our ramen noodles from scratch every day. Most ramen shops in nyc don’t do this, but we are passionate about the craft of creating an amazing and satisfying bowl of noodles. It starts with flour, water, kansui, and a little bit of salt. We run it through our machine which we imported from Japan for the purpose of making the best noodle we can that perfectly matches with our paitin style chicken broth. A good ramen noodle will absorb the soup and take on all of the flavors of the broth while still having a firm texture. And we are doing all of this right here in Washington Heights, NYC! If you come to our 187th street location, you can see all of this happen right in the window of the shop.
